“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”

Did you know?

Shabbat is the most holy day of the year? Even more holy than Yom Kippur! Shabbat officially starts when there are “three stars in the sky” – that’s nightfall! Shabbat is a joyful day of rest; like a mini-vacation that comes every week! Observing Shabbat fulfills both the commandment to observe and the commandment to remember.

Shabbat services are held the 1st & 3rd Friday nights at 7:00 PM in Franklin & 1st & 3rd Saturdays at 10:00am in Newton.

Kiddush promptly follows.

High Holy Day services will be announced in synagogue and through email and our newsletter. Sunday services are held for Hebrew school children. Schedule and frequency of these services are determined by the Hebrew school and Rabbi.
